[01:01:19] beat my ass twice but like batman i won't get my ass beat a third time you know i'll go i come back and uh you come back like wesley willis well it's it's like batman's ass well it always happens like the the same the same way where it's like the first like one or two times maybe even like three times i'll get like my ass beat and then like on the time where i beat it it's basically like a no damage

[01:04:23] fucked again so and yes i do know about the item that lets you not have to deal with that and i'm not telling you where it is you have to figure it out on your own now that said so i'm in this area i even have it put it this way this is how fuck this is i even have the item that mitigates the poison it doesn't fully mitigate it you're not immune if you spend too much time the item will break

[01:04:46] and then you're you can get poison still it does recharge when you go to a bench but i'm looking around this area and this this is literally like an hour ago before this podcast that this happened to me so i'm looking around this area and i'm in like the late stages of this game keep this in mind so like i've got this game dialed in i i know the feeling that you're describing about unfocusing your

[01:13:09] to get back to mr facade and then beat his ass again finally did it i'm stuck on another boss now the barrier trio so let's go back through and grind some more and then go back to the healing spring run back through and fight the barrier trio once more and they just don't drop this game like you did with fantasy star you coward i won't because that there's no dungeons that piss me off mother three has been like smooth sailing and like the story is really fucking cool i it's tough though

[01:20:07] double slash and then just chain together move like and then there's also this um this mechanic with normal enemies where if you hit them with the the throwing stars or if you hit them with enough heavy attacks they'll have this little marker above their head if you hit l and r you'll do an execution where like you'll fly across the screen to any other enemies that have that same mark above their head execute them you'll get extra health extra throwing stars dude it's it's nuts i've i've only put like

[01:34:43] you'll shoot your little boot guns and you'll like you can shoot enemies with those boot guns or if you jump on them if you jump on enough enemies you'll start a chain or um what the fuck is it called it's called gem fever i think and gems are your currency so when you get your gem fever filled all the way up you'll get like times three gems or something and you'll start to do more damage along the way you'll as you're going down along the way you'll find different power-ups that'll

[01:35:11] change your the behavior of your gun boots like you can find like a shotgun attachment you can find like a three-way shot attachment you could find like a rapid fire attachment but i mean you can only carry one at a time so if you pick up a shotgun and then get a rapid fire it'll just just be rapid fire and there's all sorts of cool like the more gems you collect in a run after you complete that run you die it'll fill up this meter right at the very end and uh every time you do fill that up you'll unlock some cool new thing like

[01:35:42] you'll unlock a new uh stance you can pick a different stance or style at the beginning which does nothing other than like oh no no i lied your stances change like they give you different not like abilities but like my favorite one that i use all the time is the arm spin style like your little dude will be constantly spinning his arms in like a helicopter motion uh but it'll make it so that uh what is it you you don't find any upgrades along the way
